Time Schedule and Order of Events

4:15 Awards (In the bowl area near Stewart Lodge)

Awards:

1. Team Trophies to the winning team in each sub varsity race including modified

2. Individual awards to top 10 of each race

3. All-County Patches to top-28*

4. All-County Certificates to top-56*

5. T-shirts to the winner of each sub-varsity race

6. T-shirts to the top 28 in the two varsity races

* League requires a minimum of 4 league meets to be eligible – this must be verified by the Chairpersons

Reminders:

1. It is imperative that you give each runner his or her designated bib number for accurate results. Failure to do so may result in a DQ.

2. If you are short or missing bib number(s) please see the meet director ASAP before the race.

3. Remind your athletes NOT to pin the tear tag on bib number.

4. REMIND YOU ATHLETES NOT PULL THE TEAR TAG OFF UNTIL THEY ARE IN THE CHUTE!

5. Have your runners to the line 10 minutes prior to the start of the race.

6. Turn in score sheets and finish cards at the tent near the finish line.

7. Have your team volunteers check in with the meet directors after the coaches meeting to verify assignments.

8. It is imperative that those assigned to hand out finish cards, ribbons and T-shirts report to chute at proper time.

9. It is recommended that you enter your top 5 athletes in the Varsity Races. (check with Chairmen if you don’t meet the criteria)

10. It is the responsibility of each coach to verify that your varsity runners have competed in at least 4 league meets to be considered for ALL COUNTY. This will be done by signing the score card that you hand in after the varsity race. Please notify a chairperson if you have an athlete who does not have enough league meets but finishes in All County position.

It is the responsibility of each team

to CLEAN UP there area after the meet.

This is a carry it in, carry it out park.

Varsity “B” Boys – Odyssey, Varsity “B” Girls – Batavia

JV Boys – Arcadia, JV Girls – Gates

Varsity Girls – ER, Varsity Boys – Olympia

5. Two people to hand out T-shirts for each race – Churchville and Athena

6. Two people to hand-out ribbons for each race – Spencerport and Mendon

7. Eight TRAINED ADULTS to tear finish tags and “work the chute” – RH

8. We need 4 more adults to help out in the chute these adults will be provided by these schools: Penfield, Thomas, Schroeder, Fairport (one from each school, please report to finish line before start of the meet)

9. Extra Poles, flagging, set-up chute – Set-up Crew and Chairmen

10. Prepare, purchase time sheets, finish cards, ribbons, trophies, T-shirts – Chairmen

11. Finish Clock – Rick Guido

24. 5 OFFICIALS to act as security to kept course clear and free of cars and spectators for each race:

Bathing Beach Parking Lot, Bathing Beach exit, Bathing Beach entrance, Stewart Lodge Entrance and Boat Launch (Must keep theses areas free of cars).

25. Signs for Bathrooms and First Aid (Trainer) - Huckle, Demay

26. Rope off Athletes Pen and Start and Finish Area to keep out spectators.
